Jewish/Christian Studies sets sessions

Jewish/Christian Studies North continues its sessions on the role of marriage in religious traditions.

“Marriage and Divorce in the Islamic Tradition” will be presented by Professor Mustansir Mir of the Islamic Studies department at Youngstown State University. The session is Wednesday at Temple El Emeth, 3970 Logan Way, Liberty. The group will gather at 12:30 p.m. with the study starting at 1.

Discussion of upcoming Sabbath readings will be the focus on Jewish/Christian Studies South at Ohev Tzedek Congregation, 5245 Glenwood Ave., Boardman. Sessions are planned at 2 p.m. March 10 on Exodus 35:1-40:38 and Ezekial 45:16-46:18 and March 24, Leviticus 6:1-8:36 and Malachi 3:4-24.
