Grand jury indicts 2 in murder

YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury this week has indicted 28 people including two men charged with the murder of a city man in December.

Alan M. Johnson, 22, of Elm Street, and Marcel Roberson, 27, of Tod Lane have been indicted on charges of murder, possession of cocaine and two counts of illegally possessing weapons. Both men are being held in the Mahoning County jail.

According to police, Johnson and Roberson are responsible for killing Kevin Hart, 38, of Zents Avenue, who police say was shot to death in his car at the intersection of Logan and Zents avenues at 12:25 p.m. Dec. 11.

The driver’s-side window was smashed, and there were bullet holes in the car and the windshield. Hart had been shot multiple times in the back. He was lying across the front seat.

UKimberly A Diamantes, 44, Medford Street, possession of cocaine and tampering with evidence.

UBobby Kelly Jr., 46, Woodcrest Street, possession of cocaine and tampering with evidence.

UClifford White, 36, Western Reserve Road, Poland, possession of cocaine.

UOmar D. Spivey, 19, Lora Avenue, illegal possession of weapons and carrying concealed weapons.

URobert S. Burkey, 18, Steel Street, illegal possession of weapons and improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.

UGregory Direnzo Jr., 23, Richland Avenue, aggravated robbery.

UJohn Profanchik, 37, Market Street, Boardman, two counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of felonious assault, robbery and intimidation of a witness.

UWilliam T. Mosley, 46, North Lima Road, Poland, possession of cocaine.

UMelissa Greenwalt, 25, Oregon Avenue, endangering children.

ULuis Maldonado, 31, Rosewood Avenue, domestic violence and aggravated burglary.

UReggie B. Daniels, 22, E. Lucius, possession of marijuana.

UEfraim Maldonado, 40, E. LaClede, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.

UDeborah Finney, 45, Albert Street, Warren, possession of drugs.
