Fathers and daughters enjoyed a night of dinner and dancing at Boardman Township Park’s seventh annual Father Daughter Dance Feb. 19 and 20.

The event, which took place Friday and Saturday nights to accomodate all of the father-daughter couples, featured a dinner catered by A La Cart Catering.

The dance also featured a DJ, a crafts table and balloon flowers by Joe Sullivan.

“Some groups arrived in a limo,” Karen Mccallum, the organizer of the event, said. “Sometimes some of the dads really live it up.”

The event is held every year on the weekend following Valentine’s Day to avoid competition with other events, Mccallum said.
