VALPARAISO, Ind. — Willie Veasley scored 20 points and Matt Howard had 17 to lead Butler and stretch its nation-leading winning streak to 18 games. The Bulldogs (26-4, 18-0) pulled out the win even without top scorer Gordon Hayward, who was out with a back injury. Howard played with a stomach ailment and Veasley missed Butler’s last game against Siena with a sprained right knee.

DURHAM, N.C. — Jasmine Thomas scored 21 points and Duke clinched the Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season title by routing Virginia. Allison Vernerey added 17 points and Joy Cheek scored 13 for the Blue Devils (24-4, 12-1), winners of six straight since their only ACC loss. No. 22 Georgia Tech 64, North Carolina 57
ATLANTA — Alex Montgomery had 20 points and a career-high 15 rebounds, and Brigitte Ardossi added 18 points for Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech (22-7, 8-5 ACC) improved to to 12-2 at home. Ceter DeGraffenreid led North Carolina (17-10, 5-8) with 25 points. The Tar Heels are 1-7 in their last eight.
