VFW 332 Auxiliary receives awards

COLUMBUS — Representing Newton Falls VFW Post 3332 Ladies Auxiliary at the Department of Ohio Mid-Winter Conference Jan. 21 to 24 in Columbus were Bobbie Jo Stiltner, president; Ann Snyder, senior vice president; Donna Himes, treasurer; and Wanda Thompson, patriotic instructor.

The auxiliary was awarded certificates for its participation in the following programs; veterans and family services, Buddy Poppy, National Home, Americanism, cancer aid and research, community service, hospital, legislative/political action, membership, Voice of Democracy/Patriot Pens Scholarship, and youth activities.

During the event program committee chairs had an opportunity to promote various national programs.
