Allegiant expands flights from Vienna to include Myrtle Beach

VIENNA — Allegiant Air is expanding its flight offerings starting April 22 with two flights per week to Myrtle Beach.

The airline announced the additional flights at a press conference at the airport on Wednesday, saying the flights will cost $49.99 each way to start and rise to around $70 each way March 17.

The company will offer a limited number of flights for $9.99 each way until midnight tonight.

Flights can be booked at www.allegiantair.com or by calling (702) 505-8888.

Allegiant spokesman John Fenyes said Las-Vegas-based Allegiant is offering the additional flights departing the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport at 2:05 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays through the fall.

The company is expanding offerings because of the good response from local customers to the flights it has offered between Vienna and the Sanford International Airport for several years.
