Oakland open-mic show set for Wednesday

YOUNGSTOWN — The Oakland Center for the Arts, 220 W. Boardman St., will have its monthly open-mic show, The Stage, at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Admission is $5 (free for performers).

The Stage is hosted by Oakland president Brooke Slanina and Matt Liller.

Performers, including musicians, dancers, comedians, actors and poets, can register beginning one hour before the show, or in advance by e-mail to OaklandStage@gmail.com.
