GM UPDATE: Cruze is ‘great today,’ GM exec proclaims

AUSTINTOWN — Mark Reuss, president of GM North America, stopped by Greenwood Chevrolet in Austintown today to show off a new Chevrolet Cruze. He drove the car into the sales lot.

“The car was great today,” he said. “We’re ready for production.”

Reuss was going next to the GM Lordstown plant where the car will be built. A 1 p.m. announcement about the plant's production future is planned.

“It says a lot about or people and our community to have the Cruze built here. We’re up for it and we’re proud,” said Tom Mock, plant spokesman.
