Fourth suspect in Liberty double homicide arrested today


WARREN — Trumbull County Sheriff’s Department arrested Marquese J. Floyd, 25, of Youngstown, at about 10:30 a.m. today. He was wanted on an aggravated murder charge for the double homicide Nov. 15, 2009, in Liberty Township.

Three people, all of Youngstown, are already in custody for the shooting deaths of Wilneice L. Green and her 13-year-old daughter, Ja-Brajasia, who were killed at their residence, 3022 Northgate Drive. They are Melvin L. Turner, 36, being held by police in Baltimore; James M. Christian, 20, and Appolonia E. Baker, 25, both in Trumbull County jail.

An arrest warrant, issued by the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s office, is still out for Denise L. Jackson, 25.

Liberty Police Chief Richard Tisone said all those involved in the homicides have criminal records.
