Cake Boutique plans ribbon-cutting ceremony

HOWLAND — The Cake Boutique will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. March 6 at its new specialty shop at 4248 N. River Road. The Cake Boutique offers wedding and specialty cakes as well as serving as a local coffee shop.

The grand opening will include samples of the cakes and other treats, in addition to coffee.

The cake designer and owner is Stella Kotsatos-Angelo, who said the business started out as a hobby. Penny Bennett is her co-designer.

Mesmerized store opens on North State in Girard

GIRARD — Mesmerized has opened in Northview Place at 216 N. State St. The store carries new and used merchandise, including jewelry, furniture, figurines, dishes and toys.

The hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
