YMTA students present recital at the Butler North

YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown Music Teachers Association presented a student recital in January at the Butler North.

Performing were: Emily Vo, Ethan Vo, Alexis Cintron, James Haddad, Zach Smotzer, Rachel Brown, Dominic DeLaurentis and Mary Smrek.

Their teachers are Diane DiDomenico Debiec, Audrey Rhinehart, Susan Owens, Joan Cosgrove and Diane Yazvac.

Themes from “Carmen for Flute” were performed by Julianna Sabo, Youngstown State University Dana School of Music scholarship winner. She was accompanied by Yazvac.

Joan Cosgrove hosted the recital, and Rhinehart is association president.

Another recital will be Feb. 28 at the Butler North.
