YOUNGSTOWN — Riviera Maya, Mexico, was the honeymoon destination of Dan Schiavoni and his bride, the former Megan Flower, who were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Oct. 17 at St. Dominic Church.

The Rev. Peter Fegan officiated for the daughter of Earl and Ingrid Flower of Lyndhurst, and the son of Lou and Joan Schiavoni of Boardman.

The couple greeted guests during a reception at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. They live in Columbus.

The bride wore a strapless ivory A-line gown.

Deep purple gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Jackie Bell, and the bridesmaids, Jessica Flower, the bride’s sister-in-law; Tatjana Brown; Julie Beane and Kristin Rodgers. Flower girl was Nicole Evans, the groom’s cousin.

Joe Schiavoni performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsman were his brothers, Marc Schiavoni and Nick Schiavoni; Chad Davis; Brian Tumineuo and Kyle Raybuck. Ring bearer was the groom’s cousin, Jack Keffler, and ushers were the bride’s brothers, Kyle Flower and Brian Flower.

The bride, a graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, is employed in recruitment marketing by Cardinal Health in Dublin.

The groom graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a commercial real estate appraiser with Crown Appraisal Group in Columbus.
