YOUNGSTOWN — Mary Monica Anne Dancak and David Joseph Metcalf were married at noon Oct. 10 at Immaculate Conception Church. The Rev. Peter Haladej officiated.

A reception at St. Christine Parish Center honored the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Dancak of Youngstown and the son of Ray and Gloria Metcalf of Boardman. They live in Beaver Township.

The bride wore a strapless platinum taffeta ball gown with beaded lace bodice and side-draped skirt with a matching bolero jacket.

Honor attendants, Audrey McLaughlin and Natalie Dancak, wore mink gowns, and the bridesmaids, Cynthia Swaffar, Kimberlee DiPillo, V. Betsy Faunda, Jennifer Senvisky, Cinda Matsouris, Amelia Landry, Katina Faunda, Kaija DiPillo, Michelle Raymond, Colleen Durkin and Brittany Raymond wore bronze gowns. Flower girl was Mariah Farragher.

Robert White Jr. and Daniel Donoghue were best men, and groomsmen were Tod Farragher, Timothy Durkin Sr., Duke Slater Thomas Clark Sr., Jeffrey Chrystal, Jamie Senvisky, Jason Senvisky, Nicholas Donoghue, Kyle Donoghue, James Raymond Jr. and Dakota Senvisky. The usher was William Matsouris III, and junior groomsman was Samuel Matsouris.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and political science from Youngstown State University. A retired State of Ohio parole officer, she is a part-time social worker at the Help Hotline Crisis Center. The groom is employed at V&M Star Steel.
