East Palestine family member is a winner

EAST PALESTINE — Linda and Jack Mihalcak of East Palestine have been notified that their granddaughter, Alexandra Aldridge, and her partner Daniel Eaton won the U.S. Novice Dance title Jan. 20 during the free dance competition at the U.S. National Figure Skating Championship event in Spokane, Wash.

Alexandra, a daughter of Kirk and Janet Lancos Aldridge of Birmingham, Mich., and Eaton have been skating as a team for the past year. They represented the Detroit Skating Club in the free dance segment of the event
