Tieche kicks off retirement with celebration

Former Canfield City Manager started his retirement with a bang, celebrating 35 years of service to the City of Canfield with a party at A La Cart Catering on Feb. 6.
Tieche, who served as Canfield’s city manager for 18 years, retired on Jan. 29.
The party featured presentations from Canfield Mayor Bill Kay, Canfield Fire Chief and Tieche’s brother Bob Tieche, City Attorney Mark Fortunato and Canfield Police Chief Charlie Colucci.
Jerry Ricketts, Tieche’s longtime friend, read a poem he had written for the occasion.
Andy Skrobola, president of the Canfield City Council, presented Tieche with a desk chair engraved with Tieche’s name and his years of service to Canfield.
