Feb. 8

Theft: A power drill and keys were taken from an auto at Billy’s Sports Bar, 40 S. Meridian Road.

Identity theft: A cell-phone account was opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 4000 block of Claridge Avenue.

Gun recovered: A loaded .40-caliber handgun was reported lost and then recovered at a home in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.

Counterfeit currency: Counterfeit money totaling $35 in five- and 10-dollar denominations was passed at Denny’s Restaurant, 4927 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized withdrawals were made from an account at a home in the 1000 block of Cedarwood Drive.

Theft: A prescription was reported stolen from an employee’s purse at Internet Cafe, 4405 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A garage door was spray-painted at a home in the 4000 block of Patricia Avenue.

Burglary: A Sony Bravia 46-inch flat-panel television was stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Aldrich Drive.

Theft: An Android cell phone was stolen from a locker at the Austintown Fitch High School fitness center, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Assault: A male and a female claim each assaulted the other at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.

Theft: A personal check was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of DePaw Avenue and cashed at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Feb. 9

Assault: A man who was walking in the 200 block of Forest Hill Drive yelled at the driver of a car that passed him and almost hit him. He told police three males, including the driver, got out of the vehicle and started punching him.

Domestic violence: Police arrested John J. Cassity II, 34, 6025 Heron’s Circle, at the residence on a charge of domestic violence.

Warrant: Eric M. Cannon, 26, 4557 Woodhurst Drive, was arrested on a warrant charging him with obstructing justice at state Routes 82 and 11.

Feb. 10

Warrants: Police arrested two men on foot on warrants after they stopped them to determine whether they owned an abandoned vehicle in the 100 block of N. Roanoke Avenue. Stephen Shay, Jr., 42, 233 Ashton Road, Sharon, Pa., was arrested on a warrant alleging petty theft and possession of drug-abuse instruments, and Joshua K. Glancy, 27, 1311 Valley View Road, Clark, Pa., was arrested on a warrant charging him with petty theft and misuse of a credit card.

Menacing: A man is accused of menacing at an apartment in the 6000 block of Callaway Circle.

Theft: $33.07 in fuel was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Feb. 11

Telecommunications harassment: A juvenile was reported as receiving unwanted phone calls at a home in the 6000 block of Ruby Court.

Feb. 12

Domestic violence: Gary L. Young Jr., 27, 4860 Westchester Drive, Apt. 7, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence at his home.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged at a home in the 2000 block of Woodgate Street.

Criminal damaging: A window of a vehicle was damaged in the 6000 block of Pineridge Court.

Theft: A GPS was taken from a vehicle at a home in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.

Warrant: Joshua McBride, 18, 5860 Mount Everett Road, Hubbard Township, was arrested on a warrant charging him with receiving stolen property and misuse of a credit card at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road.

Warrant: Walter Gibson, 53, 617 N. Raccoon Road, was arrested at his home on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic warrant.

Criminal mischief: Mustard was put on a vehicle at an apartment in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Menacing: A woman was threatened by a 17-year-old girl at a home in the 60 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Liquor violation: Brandi M. Loew, 25, 7469 Huntington Drive, No. 6, Boardman, was issued a summons on a charge of sale of liquor to a minor at Rumor’s Lounge, 104 N. Meridian Road.

Liquor violation: Andrea L. Montecalvo, 27, 409 Emma St., Niles, was issued a summons on a charge of sale of liquor to minors at Noday’s Hideaway, 3713 Oakwood Ave.

Liquor violation: Melissa Collinsworth, 25, 4065 Bob-O-Link Drive, Youngstown, was issued a summons on a charge of sale of liquor to minors at Billy’s, 40 S. Meridian Road.

Liquor violation: Bryan K. Dye, 39, 9852 Bayberry Lane, Garrettsville, was issued a summons on a charge of sale of liquor to minors at the Split Level, 169 S. Four Mile Run Road.

Feb. 13

Theft: Items were removed from a building without permission at Dairy Queen, 5511 Silica Road.

Menacing: A man is accused of menacing at Wal-Mart.

Assault: A woman is accused of assault at an apartment in the 2000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Menacing: An elderly male was threatened over the phone at a home in the 2000 block of Ardenwood Place.

Theft: A man reported checks were stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Lake Road.

Feb. 14

Domestic violence: Matthew Oles, 23, 3835 S. Turner Road, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence at his home on S. Turner Road.

Theft: A hearing aid was stolen at Austin Woods, 4780 Kirk Road.

Warrant: Jason Sudac, 34, 4434 Burkey Road, was arrested on a warrant on a charge of probation violation on allegations of domestic violence in the 1300 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Timothy Weston, 23, 531 Notre Dame Lane, was arrested on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in a domestic-violence case at his home.

Theft: Patricia Courtney, 41, 3028 Shirley Road, Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of theft at Wal-Mart.

Assault: A 12-year-old girl was assaulted by three other females at the Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave.
