Passing bad checks: An elderly woman wrote two checks on a closed account to purchase several gift cards at Get Go Gas Station, 375 E. Main Street.

Telephone/text harassment: A woman who resides in the 300 block of Carriage Lane reported her daughter had received several unsolicited text messages on her cell phone.

Pandering sexually oriented material: Police arrested Christopher Breen, 37, 54 Skyline Drive, Canfield, on a charge of pandering sexually oriented material after a detective was contacted by the mother of a 17-year-old girl saying her daughter’s ex-boyfriend was in possession of her belongings and would not return them.

Warrant: Police arrested Karen S. Seidita, 51, 1338 Shields Road, Youngstown at her parent’s home in the 500 block of Neff Drive on a failure-to- appear warrant on charges of criminal damaging.

Feb. 13

Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested a 17-year-old boy from Alliance on Lisbon Street on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they found a soda pop can with punctured holes in it and burnt marijuana residue.
