Auditions scheduled for variety show

COLUMBIANA — Open auditions for the Main Street Madness comedy sketch team’s next show will be at 9 a.m. today and Feb. 27 at the Encore section of Main Street Theater, 5 N. Main St. All material is written and directed by local artists Carla Sukosd and Jim Couchenour Jr.

The comedy group is fashioned in the traditions of “Saturday Night Live” and “The Carol Burnett Show,” interspersing sketches and musical acts.

All material is family-friendly.

Auditioners should be age 13 and up. Both men and women are needed, but especially men. Interested persons can come to either or both auditions. Call (330) 261-8472.
