Relaxing tea and lacemaking

CORTLAND — The public is invited to a relaxing tea with light refreshments for body and mind at 5 p.m. Monday.

Tracy Jackson, lacemaker and owner of The Lacemaker Shop, 134 N. High St. in Cortland, will share the history of lacemaking and lacemakers. Lace samples will be available for your appreciation.

For the fearless, there will be tools to try out the techniques. Join in to renew your appreciation for a centuries-old craft. Space is limited; so register early. Admission is $5 per ticket.
