Recording artists to perform at The Riot

YOUNGSTOWN — Four Niayana Recordings artists will perform in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at The Riot, Victory Christian Center, 3899 McCartney Road, Coitsville.

Allison, Jon Austin, TaRee and Phillip K. Jones will be on the bill for the show, which will be hosted by WKBN-TV 27 newsman Dave Sess.

Niayana recently released “The Compilation Version 1.0,” a CD that features all nine of its artists.

A concert featuring the nine artists will be 7 p.m. March 28 at Victory Christian Center. Tickets will go on sale next month for $10.

The nine artists work in a variety of genres, including gospel, hip-hop, jazz fusion and contemporary Christian. The other Niayana artists include Joe Thomas, Divine Soldiers, Stefano, Jim Couchenour and SounDoctrine.
