Craft beer event to benefit HOVN

BOARDMAN — HandsOn Volunteer Network and Vintage Estate Wine and Beer are collaborating to host a “Big Tap In” festival of craft beers to raise funds to support the mission and work of HOVN.

The unique fundraiser will be April 24 at the Shepherd Event Center, 7469 South Ave., Boardman. A VIP session will be from noon to 2 p.m. and a general session from 2:30 to 6.

Local restaurants and caterers are invited to offer samplings of their products to participants at the event.

Sponsorships are available for the event, which will feature craft breweries and distributors from across the United States.
