Mahoning Co. mails out first-half tax bills

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Treasurer’s Office has begun mailing first-half real estate tax bills to owners of 166,000 parcels of land.

The deadline to pay without penalty is March 12. Taxes may be paid in person at the treasurer’s office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday in the county courthouse, 120 Market St.; by mail, or online by check or credit card.

Payments postmarked on or before March 12 will be considered on time.
