• Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a baked chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. • St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.

• St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will sponsor fish dinners from 4 to 7 each Friday of Lent (except Good Friday) The cost is $8.75 for adults, $8.50 for seniors, $4 for children 6 to 12, and free for those under 6. Takeouts begin at 3:30.

SATURDAY

• Calvary Baptist Church, 1463 Shields Road, Boardman, is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, Italian bread, salad, dessert and beverage. Dinners are $6 for adults, $3 for children 4 to 12, and free for those 3 and under. Takeouts are available.

• Deerfield American Legion Post 713, 1517 state Route 14, will serve a breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. at the post home. Costs are $6 for adults and $3 for children, and the menu consists of pancakes, sausage, eggs, sausage gravy over biscuits and a beverage. Proceeds will benefit the American Legion scholarship fund.

• Sebring VFW 6730 will have a steak fry from 5-8 p.m. at 206 Ohio Ave. The cost is $14 for a 16-ounce porterhouse with baked potato and salad bar.
