Millcreek center receives $9,500 grant for program

YOUNGSTOWN — The Millcreek Children’s Center received a grant of $9,500 from the Aimee and Lulu Seidel Foundation for its Sponsor a Child Program.

However, the amount is far less than the actual cost of the kindergarten preparation program. So the center appeals to generous donors interested in education to help meet expenses.The grant helps working poor parents provide good preschool education for their children.
