Coat givewaway is Friday and Monday in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN — The Greater Youngstown Point Inc. will sponsor a “Winter Coat Giveaway” Friday and Monday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All coats are professionally dry cleaned and in excellent condition. Individuals with the last name beginning with the letters A through M will be served Friday; those with last names beginning with N through Z will be served Monday.

Those participating should bring photo identification. Proof of household size is also is required if you are in need of coats for others.

The Greater Youngstown Point is located at 1555 Belmont Ave., Suite 3, adjacent to the Goldie’s Flower Shop, on the city's North Side. Coats are provided through the annual “Button-Up” program sponsored by Help Hotline.
