WARREN — It’s All Fine Consignment and Gift Shop has opened at 2775 Youngstown Road. The shop is owned by Winifred Hosking and offers a range of gently used products, including furniture, housewares, clothing, tools, collectibles and handmade gifts.

Pa. auditor general to speak at chamber dinner

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Pennsylvania Auditor General Jack Wagner will address more than 350 members of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce at its 107th annual dinner at 6 p.m. March 10 at the Cathedral. Wagner is seeking to be the Democratic candidate for governor of Pennsylvania.

Hale named to board

KENT — Rick Hale, president of Winner Aviation Corp. in Vienna, has been named to the board of trustees of the Northeast Ohio Trade and Economic Consortium. NEOTEC is a regional economic- development partnership of 10 Northeast Ohio counties, including Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

Tax refunds

The economy may have Americans itching to get their taxes done early this year. Online searches with the word “refund” were 80 percent more frequent in mid-January compared to the same period in 2009, according to data from Yahoo Inc.

Yahoo looked at queries in the seven days ended Jan. 26, around the time people are receiving W-2 forms in the mail, and found that searches for various tax credits are nearly double that during the same period last year.
