55-PLUS CLUB

• 55-Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at St. Mary’s Church at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. After card games, members will dine out. New members are welcome. Call Bob at (330) 652-6020.

• Members of AARP chapter 4611 will have an executive board meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Church on Parmelee Ave., Youngstown. The regular meeting will begin at noon. Guest speaker will be Rochelle Taylor from the U.S. Census Bureau. Members are reminded to pay their dues for 2010. There will be a 50-50 raffle and refreshments. • Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. All classmates are welcome.

• CROATION PENSIONERS

• The Croatian Pensioners of Mahoning Valley will meet at noon Thursday at Lodge 66 Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road. Reports will be given by Veronica Fabanish and Jolene Kunovich. HAPPY WANDERERS

• Happy Wanderers will begin its 21st year of activities by meeting at noon Friday at Corner House Christian Church. Kathy Bailey will speak about service dogs and will be accompanied by her companion dog, Amos. Members are reminded to take a sandwich, and those whose last names begin with the initials A-L are asked to take cookies. Hospitality will be Wilma Quinn, Ray and Lillian Zedaker and Bobbie and Herb Grantz, and greeters will be Georgia Bosley, Mary Jane Dean, Betty Toman and Millie Gilliland.

PARK VISTA

• Park Vista Retirement Community, 1216 Fifth Ave., is inviting the public to a light breakfast and program at the Gathering Room at 9 a.m. Feb. 23. The program will be sponsored by Park Vista, Senior Independence and OPRS Church Relations and will feature Vivian J. Barricella, director of community education at Park Vista. • The meeting of St. Christine Seniors scheduled for Wednesday has been canceled due to Ash Wednesday activities at the church. The next meeting will be March 3.

• Retirees of Local 2243 U.S.W.A. Copperweld Steel, S.O.A.R. Chapter 1-28-10, will have a meeting Thursday at Local 1375 Union Hall, 684 N. Park Ave., Warren. The guest speaker will be Janet Schweitzer of SCOPE Inc.
