Canfield Hockey team gets victory

The Canfield Cardinals hockey team defeated CVCA Feb. 1.

Nick Carney scored two goals in the 6-5 win. Joe Geiser scored a goal and had four assists, Scott Sittig had one goal and three assists and Ryan Ohara and Mike Haurin scored one goal apiece.

Geiser made 15 of 18 saves in two periods of work and stopped a point blank shot with one tick left in the game.

The Canfield team honored its lone senior, Sellig after their final regular season game at the Ice Zone Feb. 6.
