Poland student poets to be published

If you didn’t already know it, Poland Middle School is becoming the school of the poet.

A total of 30 PMS seventh-graders have been selected for publication in the fall 2009 edition of “A Celebration of Poets,” a publication of Creative Communications.

This group of students has also been awarded the Poetic Achievement Award for students’ entries of exceptionally high merit.

Those earning this honor include Paulina Balluck, Mackenzie Beck, Joyce Bissel, Kevin Burnett, Anna Cartwright, Kevin Cicuto, Daniel Cipriano, Cody Compton, Rebecca Dangerfield, Ally Deemer, Nick Gajdos, Annmarie Ginnis, Jake Hawkins, Cassi Herdman, Michael Houy, Aleah Hughes, Rocky Jeswald, Anthony Lattanzio, Nicolette Kreatsoulas, Alexis Kotouch, Marty Malenic, Angelisa Melnek, Autumn Moore, Austen Peters, Marlon Ramirez, Destiny Rischpater, Claire Schneider, Gabrielle Vargo, Jessica Weaver and David Windsor.
