Help in reading is provided by eighth-graders during a week of celebration festivities the week of Feb. 1.

In celebration of Catholic School Week, Holy Family School participated in a buddy reading program. First and eighth-graders took time out each day to read with each other during school hours.

Buddy reading is done to promote interaction with the younger and older students in the school. It was implemented four years ago and has been done annually since.

Other events for Catholic School Week included a scholastic book fair, staff appreciation luncheon, ice skating and a family fun night.
