General-fund revisions

The 2010 budget is being revised to eliminate a $463,000 deficit. The general fund has been cut by $157,822; and the park fund, $32,569. A list of some general-fund revisions:

Police Department: $1,040,191 to $945,780, a cut of $103,411

Fire Department: $320,316 to $351,768, a $31,452 increase.

City council: $123,461 to $101,371, a cut of $22,090.

Municipal court: $229,612 to $224,487, a cut of $5,125.

Finance Department: $216,132 to $186,871, a cut of $29,261.

Administration: $480,195 to $448,744, a cut of $31,451.

Civil service: $23,610 TO $23,504, a cut of $106.

Law: $42,463 to $42,603, a cut of $140.
