Children listened to Valentine’s Day stories and decorated their own Valentine’s Day cards at the Austintown Public Library’s “Fun With Fours and Fives” event Tuesday.

Children’s librarian Hayley McEwing led the kids in an interactive storytime and helped them make Valentine’s Day-themed crafts at the library’s “Creation Station.”

The library hosts “Fun with Fours and Fives” Tuesdays at 10 a.m. The program teaches pre-reading skills, including narration, print motivation and awareness, vocabulary and the alphabet.

The Austintown Library is hosting a Valentine’s Day craft station until the end of February.
