Man pleads guilty to sexual imposition

WARREN — Imad M. Elsayed, 45, of Deer Creek Court, Austintown, has pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual imposition and could spend up to a year in prison for offenses against young female customers at Big Daddy’s Drive Thru on Niles-Cortland Road in Howland last winter.

Elsayed entered the pleas Thursday in the courtroom of Judge John M. Stuard of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

Elsayed will be sentenced in four to six weeks on the two misdemeanor offenses. He also will be classified as a Tier 1 sex offender and will have to register once per year with the sheriff’s office where he lives, works or goes to school, said Mike Burnett, an assistant county prosecutor.

In March, Elsayed was accused of reaching through the car window of a 19-year-old Cortland woman’s car and groping her while giving her the merchandise she ordered.

In February, police said he told a 19-year-old Vienna woman to get out of her car and get her cigarettes in the office, where he sexually assaulted her, Howland police said.
