Man fatally shot while shoveling snow

COLUMBUS (AP) — A volunteer minister who was shot to death while shoveling snow outside his Ohio home was likely the random victim of a robber, police said Thursday.

Billy Howard, 55, died of a gunshot wound to the chest, and the death has been ruled a homicide, said Franklin County Coroner Jan Gorniak.
