Kiwanians hear talk abaout Pow Wows

GIRARD — Bob Wilson, a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, was the guest speaker at a recent meeting of Western Mahoning County Kiwanis Club. He spoke about Native American Pow Wows in the area.

Arrangements were made for a delegation from the club to attend the Kiwanis Division 21 meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hilltop Presbyterian Church in Toronto, Ohio. Presiding will be Lt. Gov. Joyce Pogany of Austintown.

The Rev. Richard Fruit will speak at the Wednesday meeting of the club and Pat Deascentis will speak on Project Linus on March 3. Meetings are at 6 p.m. at A la Cart in Canfield. For more information contact Barb Smith, (330) 502-1460
