Trumbull Dems meet on Feb. 17 to fill vacant Niles City Council seat

NILES — Trumbull County Democratic Party Central Committee members from Niles will meet at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at Niles City Council Chambers, 15 E. State St., to select a replacement for an open councilman-at-large position.

They will fill the position left vacant by the resignation of Thomas Scarnecchia, who had one of three at-large seats for nearly 15 years.

Scarnecchia resigned in January for health reasons.
