Benefit dinner dance planned at Yankee Lake

BROOKFIELD — The public is invited to a benefit dinner dance at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Yankee Lake Ballroom, Route 7.

The event, sponsored by the newly established nonprofit organization Every Class Helping Others (ECHO) Charitable Foundation, will include a buffet dinner, entertainment by DJ Mike Hammond and a Chinese auction and raffles.

Brookfield High School alumni formed the organization to help other graduates of Brookfield who are in dire need.

Advance ticket sales are encouraged. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at Yankee Lake, Marian’s Out of Eden Hair Design, or at the Community Foundation, 33 Chestnut St., Sharon, or by calling Bruce Baker at (330) 565-4515 or John Litman at (330) 509-1441.
