African Marketplace at YSU rescheduled
YOUNGSTOWN — The African Marketplace, part of Youngstown State University’s Black History Month celebration, has been rescheduled for noon to 6 p.m. Feb. 20 in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center.
It will offer a wide range of sights, sounds and objects, including art, jewelry and Afrocentric writings and literature. Dance and musical entertainment will be provided by the Harambee Youth Group.
The event is open to the public and free parking is available in the Lincoln Avenue parking deck and lot M-24 next to McDonald’s on Fifth Avenue.
