Sectional preview \ Swimming and diving

When: Girls diving today. Boys diving Thursday. Swimming is Friday and Saturday.

Division I: Boardman, Chaney, Fitch, Howland (girls) Warren Harding and Boardman will compete at Ocasek Natatorium, University of Akron. Howland boys will compete at Mayfield High School.

Division II: Cardinal Mooney, Columbiana, Hubbard, Lisbon, Poland, Salem, Sebring, South Range, Struthers, United, Ursuline, Warren JFK, West Branch and Western Reserve will compete at Ocasek Natatorium. Lakeview, Maplewood and McDonald will compete at Gates Mills Hawken.

Diving district qualifiers: Sixteen divers advance in Div. I. Due to the small number of competitors in Division II, all divers advance to the district.

Swimming district qualifiers: In all individual events and relays, each sectional will have two automatic qualifiers in each event. In addition there will be individuals and relays qualifying at-large from the combined sectionals.
