HUBBARD — Tylor Loveless scored 30 points to lead Hubbard (10-5). Mike Lopuchovsky added 13 points, Kory Hopkinson 12 and Chase Myers 10 to aid the Eagles. Phillip Hudson had 14 points for Chaney (5-11), including four 3-point goals; while Chuck Jennings chipped in with 11 points.
Howland 66, Niles 61
NILES — The Tigers (7-9, 2-4) kept the Red Dragons (7-11, 2-4) from catching fire in an All-American Conference Red Tier game with solid offensive production from Stephawn Brown (12 points), Dontea Dawson (15), T.J. Lanier (16) and Matt Haering (13). Niles was led by Ryan Frantz, who finished with 25 points, including five 3-point goals.
Lakeview 52, Liberty 44
LIBERTY — Elliot Metheny scored 14 points and Louie Novakovich added 13 for Lakeview (3-13, 1-3 AAC White), which took a 35-28 lead after three quarters. Freshman Preston Williams scored 19 points to lead the Leopards (5-13, 2-4).
Newton Falls 58, Champion 41
CHAMPION — Brian Sole scored 15 points, Tyler Kernen had 13 and Stephen Page scored 10 for Newton Falls (14-3, 5-2 AAC Blue), which led 28-20 at halftime. Dominic DeMartini had 12 points for Champion (4-12, 0-7), while Ross Farmer and Ian Barnes each added 10.
Columbiana 59, Crestview 49
COLUMBIANA — Tyler Denmeade scored 25 points to lead Columbiana (10-8, 8-5 ITCL Tier One), which outscored 18-8 in the fourth. Logan Goist added 10 points for the Clippers. Tristan Reynolds netted 15 points, including five 3-point goals, to spark Crestview (5-14, 3-10), while Carter Hill contributed 10 points and Tom Oliver and Brian Orr nine apiece. The Rebels had 10 3-point goals.
