Black nurses association offers 2010 scholarships

Youngstown-Warren Ohio Black Nurses Association has scholarship assistance available for those who are in an accredited nursing program. The deadline to apply is March 31.

Recipients of the 2009 scholarships were Latarsha Carter-Robinson, $1,000; Alyssa Monroe, $500; Shallon Hobbs, $500.

YWOBNA is an affiliate of the National Black Nurses Association. The local YWOBNA was organized in 1989.
