YOUNGSTOWN — Victoria Marie Chaney and Jeffrey Alan Morckel were united in marriage during a garden ceremony on June 27 in Kidston Pavilion at Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek Park. The Rev. Donald H. Booth officiated.

The couple accepted congratulations during a reception at the D.D. and Velma Davis Center at the gardens.

Parents of the bride are Deborah and Ronald Hill of Howland, and the groom’s parents are Jodi and Roy McCullough and Dale and Jane Morckel, all of Salem.

Bethany Solich served as the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Kelly Morckel, a sister of the groom, and Nicole Ramson.

The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s brother, Ryan McCullough, and serving as groomsmen were Lee Gidley and Jordan Weaver.

Mrs. Morckel graduated summa cum laude with a degree in education from Youngstown State University and is pursuing a doctorate in city and regional planning at Ohio State University. She is employed by the City of Columbus Land Redevelopment Division.

Mr. Morckel is a piano teacher at 88 Keys Music Studios in Pickerington. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in music from YSU and is pursuing a master’s degree in music education at OSU.

The couple honeymooned at the Buhl Mansion in Sharon, Pa., and live in Columbus.
