YOUNGSTOWN — Megan Marie Villani, daughter of Raymond and Barbara Villani, 357 Ewing Road, Boardman, and David Higham, son of Richard and Eleanor Higham, 1546 Lynn Ave., were married at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at St. Dominic Catholic Church.
The Rev. Peter Fagan officiated, and a reception followed at The Embassy in Boardman. After a honeymoon at St. Thomas and St. John, the couple live at 1569 Meadowbrook Ave.
The bride’s strapless white taffeta ball gown was trimmed in rhinestones.
Megan Vutech and Kerri Savaet, the honor attendants, wore clover-colored gowns, and hunter green gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Holly Wojciechowski, Cheri Michael, Bonnie Herchik, Jackie Kowach, Rachel Sinchak and Jen Reardon, and the junior bridesmaids, Emily and Morgan Higham. Flower girls Amelia Gale and Delaney Savaet, wore white.
Ed Wojciechowski and Dan Michael were best men, and groomsmen were Brendan Sinchak, Matt Brown, Brian Porada, Mike Villani, Bryan Savaet and Tim O’Shaughnessy. Ushers were Alec Higham and Mike Irvin, and ring bearers were Michael and Peter Vance.
The bride, a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Health Center, is retaining her maiden name. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
The groom served with the U.S. Air Force and attended YSU. He is a stock associate with Lowe’s in Boardman.
