Trumbull food co-op offers exceptional prices
WARREN — The Trumbull Community Action Program has started a food co-op at its 1230 Palmyra Road, S.W. offices at Palmyra Road and Austin Avenue.
The co-op and other TCAP programs are being offered with assistance from federal-stimulus money.
The goal of the store is to provide exceptional pricing on groceries such as milk, eggs, pasta, fresh deli meats and cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables and canned and frozen goods, TCAP says.
The entrance is at TCAP’s client parking lot near Pearl Street. It is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Lowellville schedules town-hall meeting
LOWELLVILLE — Mayor James Iudiciani has announced that there will be a town-hall meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday in city hall’s upstairs auditorium.
Topics will include the village’s state of affairs, a proposed 0.5-percent income-tax increase and Mahoning County’s plans for renewing a sales tax.
The regular council meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
Vienna watch group to host prosecutor
VIENNA — The Vienna Township Neighborhood Watch will meet tonight at 7 at the Vienna Town Hall.
Guest speaker will be Assistant Trumbull County Prosecutor Sean O’Brien. He will speak about snowmobiles, four-wheelers and homeowners’ rights.
He will also discuss the Trumbull Community Foundation.
All Vienna residents are welcome to attend and join the organization.
