Congressman to speak at Regional Chamber lunch

HOWLAND — U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Niles, D-17th, will talk about the economy, jobs, health care and his outlook for 2010 when he speaks at a Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 17 at Leo’s Ristorante.

The cost for the luncheon, which is open to the public, is $20 for chamber members and $30 for nonmembers.

Fund-raising professionals plan audio-conference

BOARDMAN — The Mahoning/Shenango Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals will host an audio- conference and continental breakfast titled “How an Effective Life Plan Can Benefit You Professionally, Financially and Every Way You Deserve.” The event will be at 8 a.m. Feb. 19 in the community room of Building C of Akron Children’s Hospital of Mahoning Valley, 6505 Market St.

Los Gallos opens North Lima restaurant

NORTH LIMA — Los Gallos Mexican Restaurant has opened a location at 9159 Market St. The owner, Israel Zambrano, also operates a restaurant under the same name in Boardman.
