LAWRENCE, Kan. — Cole Aldrich scored six points during a 16-1 run and Kansas used a big second half to stretch its home winning streak to 55 games. Marcus Morris had 20 points as the Jayhawks beat the Huskers (13-10, 1-7) for the 24th time in 25 meetings. Jorge Brian Diaz had 20 points for Nebraska.
No. 7 Georgetown 103, No. 2 Villanova 90
WASHINGTON — Austin Freeman scored 25 points and Jason Clark had 24 as Georgetown forced 16 first-half turnovers and ended Villanova’s 11-game winning streak and ruined the Wildcats’ perfect Big East record. Georgetown (17-5, 7-4) led by as many as 23 points in the first half. Villanova (20-2, 9-1) cut the margin to 10 but never threatened. Scottie Reynolds and Corey Fisher each scored 24 points for the Wildcats.

BATON ROUGE, La. — Freshman DeMarcus Cousins had 19 points and 13 rebounds for his sixth consecutive double-double for Kentucky. Patrick Patterson had 16 points for Kentucky and Eric Bledsoe added 10. Wall had a season-low six points on 2-of-9 shooting. Bo Spencer led LSU (9-14, 0-9) with 25 points, 19 in the second half.

NEW YORK — Da’Sean Butler scored a season-high 33 points, hitting all seven 3-point attempts. The Mountaineers (19-3, 8-2 Big East) trailed 43-30 more than 4 minutes into the second half before storming into the lead behind a trapping defense and a barrage of 3-pointers. Paris Horne and Justin Burrell had 12 points each for St. John’s.

NORMAN, Okla. — Tommy Mason-Griffin scored 24 points for Oklahoma and Cade Davis added 20 points and 10 rebounds for the second double-double of his career. Freshman Avery Bradley scored 21 points to lead the Longhorns.

BOSTON — Jon Scheyer and Nolan Smith scored 21 points apiece to lead Duke. Corey Raji had 15 points and eight rebounds for BC (12-11, 3-6), which has lost seven of its last 10 games.

AMES, Iowa — Denis Clemente scored a season-high 30 points, including six 3-pointers, and Kansas State won its fourth straight road game. Curtis Kelly and Jacob Pullen added 15 points each for the Wildcats, who also extended their winning streak over the Cyclones to eight games dating to 2006. Craig Brackins had 29 points and 12 rebounds for Iowa State (13-10, 2-6), which lost for the fifth time in six games. The Cyclones have dropped 19 straight against ranked opponents.

LAS VEGAS — Junior guard Tre’Von Willis had a career-high 33 points to lead UNLV into a first-place tie with BYU and New Mexico in the Mountain West Conference. Jimmer Fredette led the Cougars (22-3, 7-2) with 21 points going 11 of 13 from the free-throw line, just but 2 of 7 from 3-point range.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Wayne Chism scored a career-high 30 points for Tennessee. The Vols (18-4, 6-2 Southeastern Conference) won their sixth straight over the Gamecocks (13-9, 4-4) and ninth in 11 meetings. Devan Downey, who entered the game averaging 31.6 points in SEC play, finished with 26 points for the Gamecocks.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Darington Hobson scored eight of his 29 points in overtime, including two free throws with 2.7 seconds remaining, to lift New Mexico. The Aztecs (16-7, 5-4) erased a 66-56 deficit with 4 minutes to go, with D.J. Gay scoring 10 of his career-high 25 points in the final 2:01.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Matt Bouldin scored 19 points and Gonzaga pulled away at the end, closing the game with an 8-1 run. Robert Sacre added 13 points and Steven Gray finished with 12, despite shooting 4 of 12 from the field for Gonzaga (19-4). Gray had seven rebounds.
Wesley Witherspoon led Memphis (16-7) with 26 points.

RICHMOND, Va. — Kevin Anderson scored 16 of his 29 points in a blistering first half for Richmond. Lavoy Allen had 17 points and 19 rebounds for Temple (19-5, 7-2), which lost for just the second time in 10 games.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Bryan Davis scored 22 points and B.J. Holmes hit three late 3-pointers to lead Texas A&M. LaceDarius Dunn led the Bears with 23 points.

PITTSBURGH — Gilbert Brown bounced back from a scoreless game with 23 points. Seton Hall scoring leader Jeremy Hazell, the Big East’s No. 2 scorer with a 23 points per game average, had his second successive subpar game against Pitt with two points on 1-of-7 shooting in 32 minutes after not starting. Jermaine Dixon added 15 points for Pittsburgh (17-6, 7-4 in Big East).
