UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — St. Francis Chapel on the campus of John Carroll University was the setting for the 3 p.m. Sept. 26 wedding of Sarah Louise Wagner, 1514 Younkin Court, Grove City, Ohio, and Ryan Donovan Dieter of Columbus.

The Rev. Thomas Johns officiated, and a reception followed at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. After a honeymoon in Jamaica the Dieters live in Grove City.

The bride’s parents are Richard and Beverly Wagner, 101 Stoney Creek Court, Boardman, and the groom’s parents are Erle and Mary Dieter, 38820 Kyle Cove, Willoughby.

The bride’s ivory satin gown featured a fitted bodice enhanced with ruching.

Claret gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Molly Bircher, and the bridesmaids, Jennie Brewer, Stephanie Wagner, Heather Jamison and Erin Navarro. Flower girl was Kaitlyn Morris.

Jonathan Dieter was best man, and groomsmen were Ed Zizelman, Sean Kelly, David Gilbert and Aaron Wagner. Ring bearer was Riley Vilk, and ushers were David Wagner, Bob DeCaro and Matthew Krupa.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree from JCU and a doctorate in optometry from Ohio State University College of Optometry. She is completing a residency at Columbus/Chillicothe Veterans Administration Center.

The groom is a branch manager with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Grove City. He earned a bachelor’s degree from JCU and a master’s in business administration from Cleveland State University.
