Miss Houk to wed Mr. Moore June 18 in New Springfield

Annie Michelle Houk, daughter of George and Dr. Kathy Houk, all of 2700 E. Middletown Road, Poland, and James Robert Moore of 7373 Western Reserve Road, son of Robert and Susan Moore, 7393 Western Reserve Road, Canfield, are announcing their engagement and plans for their upcoming marriage.

June 18 has been chosen by the couple for their 2:30 p.m. wedding at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, New Springfield. Invitations will be extended for the ceremony and for their evening reception at the Georgetown.

Miss Houk graduated from Hiram College with a bachelor’s degree in French and education and is pursuing a master’s degree in school counseling at Malone University in Canton. She is employed by Western Reserve Local Schools as a French teacher for grades eight through 12 at Berlin Center.

Mr. Moore is self-employed as a farmer and butcher in Canfield. He graduated from Ohio University with a degree in environmental geography.
