Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, Feb. 10: Meatball splash on a bun, seasoned potatoes, buttered peas, chocolate chip cookie, unsweetened cookie, and milk.

Thursday, Feb. 11: Stuffed cabbage, mashed potatoes, green beans, wheat bread with margarine, sweetened or unsweetened fruit salad, and milk.

Friday, Feb. 12: Macaroni and cheese, carrots, unsweetened applesauce, rye bread, pineapple tidbits, and milk.

Saturday, Feb. 13: Cold cut sandwich on a hamburger bun with mustard/mayo, unsweetened mixed fruit, carrot bag with ranch dressing, fruit juice.

Monday, Feb. 15: Vegetable lasagna, glazed carrots, peas, Italian bread, sweetened or unsweetened diced peaches, and milk.

Tuesday, Feb. 16: Sausage link on a hot dog bun, peppers and onions, potato spudster, sweetened or unsweetened diced pears, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.
