Hospice of the Valley to present Mardi Gras Party as a fundraiser
Special to The Vindicator READY FOR MARDI GRAS: The 9th annual Hospice of the Valley Mardi Gras Party will take place Saturday at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. BOARDMAN — Hospice of the Valley will host its 9th annual Mardi Gras Party Saturday at Mr. Anthony’s, 7440 South Ave.
Champagne and hors d’oeuvres will be available when doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Featured throughout the evening will be a silent auction for great vacation packages, unique gifts, game tickets, autographed memorabilia, and gifts provided by local merchants.
There will also be a Chinese auction, a 50-50 raffle, psychic readings, a Mardi Gras store, food, jazz by Tim Harker and Gayle George, and dancing to the music of DJ Bryan Ladd.
The public is invited to attend, and tables for eight will be available.
The donation for the festivities is $65 per person. Proceeds will benefit the local Hospice of the Valley and its mission to provide comfort and compassionate care to those at the end of life and support for their families.
PNC is the Mardi Gras sponsor for 2010, and honorary chairs are John and Denise York, DeBartolo Corp.; and Rochelle and Gregg Strollo, Strollo Architects.
